Vocal Production

We do cover vocal production in our production package but some customers dont need an entire song producing. One of the hardest things to do as a project studio recording engineer is to successfully produce your own voice. It's very difficult to tell with your own voice what needs doing with it since it's a voice you hear every day. It often sounds a lot better if someone else does it for you.

In our vocal production service we cover arrangements, harmonies, pitching, pronunciation and EQ. We concentrate on these aspects of vocal production as often the vocal is the part of a song which could possibly give it away as being home recorded.

A general rule of thumb in the recording industry is not to mix or produce your own voice. It is hard to tell sometimes what it needs and what it's lacking. We get a lot of people come to us with a fully recorded song in need vocals. Sometimes this is the best way. We can record and produce your vocals, listen with fresh ears and you can leave with a quality, professionaly recorded vocal that will stand out.
