Recording Studio
To hire out our recording studio we charge a very reasonable £80 per day. That covers you from 9am to 5pm / 10am to 6pm, whichever, and because we're nice we don't charge anything if we have to go on later than that even if it's by a few hours. Also, as we are extremely flexible, we offer late night slots as well, until 10pm.
Midi Programming
For our Midi Programming service it's best to call us and/or send us the music that you want us to program and we will give you a quote. This isn't because it will be horrendously expensive or anything, it's just because it's difficult to charge a standard rate for this service. Some compositions are very sparse, others very complicated so the best thing is for us to look at it and give you a quote. Or course, there is no pressure and you're under no obligation to use our service if you don't like our quote. :)
Production
Again, with production, the best thing would be to call us and we can talk about your needs and what you would like to get out of us. It's hard for us to charge an hourly rate for production work sice we love our job (and because we're perfectionists) we spend quite a lot of time 'out of hours' tweaking songs to get the best out of them. The best thing to do is to get in touch with us and let us give you a quote. Once your quote is sorted it is final, you will never be asked for more.
Mixing/Re-Mixing
We charge £40 to mix or re-mix a song however long it takes us.
Mastering
Our rate for Mastering is £20 for the first song and £10 for every subsequent song after that as long as they are given to us at the same time. So, if you send us one song, it will be £20, for two songs, £30, three songs £40 and so on.
Voiceovers
For Voiceovers we usually charge around £30 for advert length short voiceovers and £40 for longer sessions.
Vocal Production
This service usually costs around £50 per song.
Lyrics
Lyric writing is really a quote only service. Generally around the £80 - £90 mark.
Cover Versions/Backing Tracks
This is one of our best value services. Basically, 1. We can make backing tracks. You can use these for gigs, karaoke, whatever you like. 2. We can make backing tracks and then record you singing the song we've recorded.
Many of our clients choose to combine these two things into a 'day in the studio' experience which make great birthday and Christmas presents for anyone, any age. Kids especially love the chance to be the centre of attention and sing their favourite songs. So, for the recording of the song, plus the live recording of the singer, plus mastering and the final cut of the CD we charge just £100. |
