Midi Programming

This is a service TrackWriters really specialise in. MIDI Programming is used in countless ways within and also outside of the Music Business.

MIDI Programming is a very useful tool for singer/songwriters who may not have a band but want a track that sounds like it was recorded by a full band. We use sophisticated, high-spec audio sampling software that perfectly encapsulates the sound, tone and feel of real instruments such as strings, synths and drums and allows us to weave them into your recordings. We tend to use a mixture of real instruments and programmed ones when we do this to add to the realism.

Adding strings, horns, synths and drums to already existing tracks can really give them the sparkle that home studios may not be capable of providing.

As well as the basics we also have programmable versions of almost any instrument you can think of. If you fancied a bit of German accordian in your song or some tubular bells, we have pretty much all the instruments you could name, and even some you couldn't, somewhere on file and we can program them into your music.

Another fantastic service - we can give aspiring and established composers the chance to hear and own audio versions of their scores without the expense and logistical problems of paying to have them recorded by a real orchestra. We will write, or program, the notes or beats resulting in a complete symphony which you can take home with you the same day.

If you would like us to program your score, there are several options. You can come to our place with your score and spend the day with us while we program the parts or, for instance if you live too far away, you can just send us an email to dan@TrackWriters.com and attach a copy of your manuscript or post a photocopy of it to us at The Annexe, 42, Elstree Road, Bristol, BS5 7DX and we will program all the parts with breathtaking realism.

You get to listen to the peice as it's being built so you can tell us what you think and whether you're happy with it. Once we are finished your score and you are completely happy you will receive a fully mastered copy on CD to take away or in the post. Alternatively we can send you a full quality version via email.

If you need us to program parts and edit them into new or existing tracks, you can follow the same procedure as above. Just send an email to us at dan@TrackWriters.com telling us what you would like us to do and either attatch a copy of the song as it is or post it to the above address.
